Stephanie Hovey (she/her) - Founder
Stephanie started Allied Therapy in 2019 to solve a problem she couldn’t ignore. While working as a speech-language pathologist in a hospital, she saw children waiting far too long for the support they needed and families left feeling stuck in the system.
Determined to make a difference, she and her team began offering services directly in clients’ homes. What began as a personal mission quickly grew into a dedicated team providing timely, high-quality care for children and families across Nova Scotia.
Stephanie’s goal has always been to make sure families feel supported and never alone. She believes in finding new ways to help, sharing what she learns, and creating a place where care is personal, practical, and full of heart.

We are a collaborative multi-disciplinary team that learns from each other to support our clients offering Speech, Occupational, and Behavioural Therapy in clinic, at the client's home, in the community, and virtually. Come work with other professionals in a supportive and fun work environment.
