Our theme this month is music with ideas to support your child's learning and therapy goals!

The best part is that they are fun games and activities that you and your child can have fun doing together!

Gross Motor Activities Play Freeze Dance.

This lets your child get some energy out and develop our big muscles!

Sensory Activity To target both touch and hearing, this month’s sensory activity is to play clapping games! You can make up your very own handshake or play clapping games like patty cake.

Fine Motor Activity and Craft Make a guitar! All you need is an empty tissue box and rubber bands for this fun and easy craft to keep the kids entertained for hours! Take the plastic off of the empty tissue box. Wrap the rubber bands around the empty tissue box. That’s it! For some extra fun, you can paint and decorate the tissue box. To make different notes for the guitar, use different sized rubber bands. Talk all through the steps together and

play the guitar that you created as your craft to practice your fine motor skills.
